About Brian
For over 25 years, Brian Smith has proudly called northeastern North Carolina home. A dedicated professional with deep roots in the community, Brian founded Smith Contracting over 16 years ago and has since established a reputation for excellence in the construction industry.
Brian’s commitment to hard work began early. A proud graduate of East Carolina University, he also served as a Coast Guard Reservist, where he developed the discipline and attention to detail that he brings to every project. This strong foundation in both education and service underpins his approach to contracting.
When he’s not on the job site, Brian is a dedicated family man. He and his wife Anna have two daughters who keep them busy on the weekends. An avid aviator, Brian recently earned his private pilot’s license, a testament to his persistent drive and passion for new challenges.
